Welcome to Web Comics Awareness 2003. Originally I had not heard of this celebration started by a handful of online cartoonists but it's a damn good idea. If you want to read funnies that are outside of the mainstream by artists who are often doing their comic strips for the pure love of the art (instead of greeting card and toy deals) then check out the main page for the WCA 2003.
