These guys were never satisfied with any horror film it seems and it's funny looking back at this review because Evil Dead 2 is a camp classic now and any fan of Sam Raimi's work is a fan of it. I don't think eighties films were ever intended for movie critics. They take delight in being lowbrow and down in the muck because they're for guys like me who can appreciate the slapstick and gore. And is reviewing movies really a profession? I guess as long as you make money at it but I don't see why one opinion is worth more than someone else's? We all have different tastes. There's the obviously bad and then the rest is subjective.

If you haven't seen it, it's great fun. Old school special effects and a movie that
was made by individuals and not a corporate machine.
Truly campy, cheezy and outright hilarious at times.
