Did anybody like the first Garfield Movie? I could only stand to watch 15 minutes of it on Cable. Why the hell would they make a sequel? I guess it made money but as someone who was raised on Garfield comics in the eighties this movie rendition had no appeal. And why wouldn't they digitally animate Odie? How are you supposed to get that exaggerated drool with a real dog plus his stupid grins. And then the choice of actor for Jon? And Jennifer Love Hewitt as the vet love-interest? Almost every bad decision that could be made was made for this movie. And of course the sequel would have to use one of the most overdone parodies out there; Mark Twain's Prince and The Pauper for you illiterates.
